Run For The Playoffs

With the Ranger's 5-3 win over the Bruin's lastnight, the Toronto Maple Leafs chances to make the playoffs are over. The chances of the Leafs making the playoffs were slim anyways. They needed to win all three games left and they needed the Ranger's, Sabre's and the Hurricane's to loss all of their remaining games. With New York's win it puts them at 91 points, and the Sabre's are at 90 points. Right now the Leafs are at 84 points and with 3 games left they can only 90 points at the most.
A big part of why the Leaf's are where they are now is because of their rookie goalie James Reimer. Reimer has a .922 save percentage and a 2.54 goals agianst epcent, while pickking up 3 shutouts along the way in just 34 games with the Leafs. Reimer was the piece of the puzzle that Leaf's needed, they had a good team but was just laking a goaltender. If the Leaf's have Reimer in the net next year, they will definatly be contenders in the eastern conference.
